Worship Ministry

The Hope Church Worship Team is made up of members with a wide range of musical gifts, including vocalists and instrumentalists. From drums and piano to voices lifted in praise, our team is committed to leading the congregation in meaningful, Christ-exalting worship. At Hope Church, worship through music is a cherished part of our ministry and an important expression of our faith.

Missions Ministry

At the heart of Sharon Hope Church is a passion for God’s Mission. We desire to fulfill
the Great Commission by supporting and encouraging those who share the Gospel, both locally and globally.

Our missions team oversees and maintains regular communication with the missionaries
we support, many of whom serve in the 10/40 Window. We seek to be more than financial
supporters—we stand alongside our missionaries through prayer, encouragement, and
partnership as they faithfully serve where God has called them.

We publish a missions newsletter featuring ministry updates and specific prayer requests
from our missionaries, inviting our church family to pray for them faithfully. In addition to
providing a Mid-Year missions update, we dedicate two Sundays as Missions Sundays, during
which our missionaries share ministry updates through videos prepared especially for our church. We conclude with an international potluck, allowing our church family to celebrate various cultural foods and what God is doing among the nations.

Sharon Hope Church started “AnAle Missions,” which partners with Emmanuel Baptist
Church in the Dominican Republic. Through this ministry, several mission trips have been
organized to serve the poor, allowing both youth and adults to minister alongside our brothers and sisters in Christ. These trips have been a blessing not only to those we serve but also to those who participate. The most recent trip was during June of 2024, where 5 members of Hope Church traveled to San Pedro de Macorís to serve.

For several years, Sharon Hope Church has hosted the Operation Christmas Child
shoebox collection site. Today, the Boston Indian church that worships in our building leads this ministry. We partner with them by continuing to serve as a local collection site for the OCC. Whether serving across the world or in our own community, our heart is to proclaim the Gospel, care for people, and glorify God through faithful service, prayer, and practical acts of love.

Media Ministry

The media team at Hope Church plays a critical role in broadcasting our live services. Whether it's managing the sound systems or presenting service slides, the media team helps amplify worship to The Lord for those in person and on live-stream.

Hospitality Ministry

Abounding Grace Food Pantry was established shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic to
provide groceries for families in need. In recent years, the ministry has focused on providing
Thanksgiving baskets to local families during the Thanksgiving season, along with a copy of the
Gospel of John. Whenever possible, we take time to listen to these families, pray with them, and
share the love of Christ.

Our missions team is involved with a local homeless ministry. During the winter months,
we collect hats, gloves, scarves, blankets, and other cold-weather essentials and distribute them
to those experiencing homelessness in Taunton and the surrounding communities. Throughout
the year, except during the summer months, we also collect clothing and hygiene items to
distribute to those in need. During the Christmas season, weather permitting, our church family
carols to share the joy, hope, and love of Christ.
